In October 2013, Chase was infected with a rare blood infection while on a family trip to Disney World and the end result was the loss of his hands and feet. At age 3, Chase Merriweather lost his extremities and gained a lesson that most adults still haven’t learned, “It’s not what happens to you in life, it’s how you deal with it.”

During this trying time Chisa Merriweather (Chase’s mom and Chad’s Wife) was carrying their new born son (Cole Merriweather) while caring for her first born son (Chad Jr. aka CJ). It’s clear where Chase gets his resilience and strong will from!

Chad and Chisa have provided us all with an amazing example of how a family should react when adversity hits and now it’s our turn...

Join friends and family of the Merriweather’s on June 26th as we celebrate little Chase’s victory of the infection and support them as they continue to push their son towards his bright future. The event will include a silent auction, select open bar & complimentary food.
