7 years, thousands of dollars in test and procedures, 6 failed IUIs, and one failed IVF.
Tedi has been diagnosed with endometriosis and has a low ovarian reserve (not very many eggs left). This, along with Chase's low sperm count, has made it impossible for us to conceive a child on our own.
After meeting with our doctor, we have decided to attack the endometriosis and to try another round of IVF. Tedi will undergo treatments for the next three months to suppress the endometriosis and we will begin the IVF cycle in July.
Up until this time, we have done everything we could to pay for all of our procedures out of pocket and not have to rely on help from others. We have run out of things to sell and our savings are running low. Chase even sold he beloved motorcycle for a chance to have a family.
The cost of the IVF cycle will cost about $18,000 to $20,000. We are trying to save every penny possible and figure we can save between $6,000 and $8,000 on our own, but that leaves us $12,000 short. We will be holding some local fundraising events, so this page is primary for those who are not able to donate at our other events (but there's no harm in doing both, right?). Our initial goal is $6,000 to get us most of the way there. We appreciate even the smallest of donations if that is all you can afford.
