Those of you who know Charmaine already know that she is a world-class example of love, generosity, laughter, strength and pure Aloha. If you are lucky enough to have her in your life as family or a friend, there is no doubt she has touched your life in a positive way.
Here's the scoop.... awhile back she was diagnosed with a brain tumor behind her left ear, and in February she underwent surgery to extract it. Unfortunately, before the tumor was able to be removed, a main artery was compromised, and she had to undergo emergency repair surgery (which saved her life) and thankfully she has recovered. However, her health is deteriorating, and the tumor is pressing dangerously close to the brain stem, affecting her balance and causing her discomfort and pressure. It needs to come out. Without this surgery, her doctors are giving a short window on her remaining time with us.

She undergoes brain surgery again on July 13th. It's a long, serious, and expensive one... and she will need all the support she can get.
With their humble blessing, this fund has been started to help Charmaine and Bryan with the upcoming costs of medical bills from 2 brain surgeries, hospital recovery/therapy, and missed household income from their jobs. Both brain surgeries are massive expenses, and despite having excellent health insurance, their financial well being is under serious threat.
Her cookie business and labor of love "Charmaine's Moa Betta Cookies" (the most amazing cookies on Oahu) will have to be put on hold. Bryan will also be out of work after her surgery to help with the long recovery.
I can't think of 2 people MORE deserving of an outpouring of love and support as Charmaine and Bryan. They are the most generous, hard working, and supportive people I know. They embody the spirit of Aloha as an example for all of us.

Your love, prayers and (any) contribution are SO very appreciated.
On behalf of Bryan and Charmaine... forever grateful.
