Charlotte's Hospital Journey

Hi, my name is Kyra, and I am Charlotte Funk's Aunt. On Thursday, February 2nd my niece Charlotte was in a very serious car accident with her boyfriend Riley Adams. Charlotte sustained life-threatening and life-changing injuries. She has survived but is now undergoing multiple surgeries and treatments. Her spine was seriously damaged, and Charlotte lost the use of her legs. We have a long, LONG road ahead of us. Currently Charlotte's mom Karrie is staying with her at the hospital and will not leave her side. The hospital does not provide meals to parents. Though Charlott'es needs will be extensive moving forward, we do not yet have a clear picture of the financial cost. So this first fundraiser is to help financially support Karrie while she stays in the hospital for food, bills, etc. There will be many more fundraisers moving forward.
