Charlotte's fantasy trilogy

I have finished writing a fantasy trilogy entitled Sweetness and Blessings. The series is set in a secondary world inspired by Victorian England, populated by elves and full of magic from the colonized planes of reality. Iriluri scrapes by in this world, struggling with the illicit magic her husband demands that she perform in order for them to claim some of her fallen people's lost treasure.  A chance encounter on the city street and a ghost's righteous anger make Iriluri begin to question the order of her world as well as the fear, shame and caution that dominate her life with her husband. But what use is it to question your world if you can't change it?

Right now I am seeking to prepare the trilogy for querying with agents to be traditionally published. To do so I am going to have it edited ($900) and sensitivity read for its depictions of abuse, characters of color ($1085) and colonialism ($1290). Finally, I am also working with the artist Indicreates to design the cover art for the remaining two books ($750 each; a piece of the first book's cover is the image for this fundraiser). 

This story was born from my passion for feminist and anti-colonialist fantasy literature, especially those stories that feature nuanced depictions of trauma, survival and resistance. I am beyond grateful for any support that you might be willing to help me make Sweetness and Blessings a published reality.
