<div>Hi, my name is Charlotte. I am 35years young and currently live in English countryside (uk). I have made the choice to leave the uk to start a new life scuba diving and exploring new countries, people, cultures and languages. I will start off by explaining why I am here asking for your help and support.

<div>I am a ex-international gymnast, who competed at elite level and was in the commonwealth team for wales. Unfortunately as people are now learning in the news and social media there was a dark side to this sport. I was one of many who was abused by coaches from age 9-17 year old. I am not able to explain the details of this as it is currently under investigation. This led me to a life of mistrust, further abuse, bad relationships and low self esteem etc. I have injuries that will affect me in my adult life along with a diagnosis of CPTSD that affects me daily.

<div>Recently a lot of my trauma has been disturbed and brought to the surface due to the ongoing investigations. The process has been difficult and I was in a very low state of mind early this year wanting to end my life. I have been off work due to this and i have been receiving specialist help.
</div>
<div>through previous therapy i discovered my happy place was being in water. I looked at activities I could do to help my mental health. I started scuba diving and my love for scuba diving has grown and grown. I have fallen in love with the ocean and I am grateful to have found such a wonderful passion and network of people. I am fortunate enough to have friends and family support me through the years but I have now made a decision that will change my life forever and for the better. I am going to complete my scuba diving instructor course and start working as a professional diver sharing my passion. I am renting my home out and leaving my job for a lifestyle that money alone could never buy. This way of life is a way for me to be truly happy and fulfilled. It is a big leap to leave everything behind and everyone I love, but this is a once in a life time opportunity.

<div>I am selling everything I own to make my dream come true and i would be grateful to anyone who would be able to make a donation to assist with the cost of my course and travel expenses.
