Thank you to everyone who has shown support to this amazing little girl and her family. On Sunday February 19, 2017 Charli Jones age 9 was in an ATV accident and was airlifted to the hospital. Charli suffered a Depressed Skull Fracture and had to undergo surgery and had titanium plates put in to pull the fracture.
Charli is such a fighter…as of today February 21 she is getting downgraded from ICU to a normal room. #charlistrong is an understatement for how hard this sweet girl is fighting. The doctors and nurses are still taking it day by day, but she is showing great improvement. Just today they finally got an update that looks into the next few months, the Surgeons spoke to Erik and Dianna, Charli can not have any physical activity for 6 months with the possibility of impaired cognitive abilities. Charli will have to have physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy.
Charli is an active girl and has a huge love for cheer, she cheers on a competitive cheer team for KO Cheer. This week her team is headed to NCA Nationals in Dallas. The motto for the gym this week is #doitforcharli. The support for the family has been amazing and they are so thankful for all that has already taken place.
