Charlie’s surgery complications

Donation protected
This is my adopted dog Charlie. We began fostering him in March and became foster failures when we adopted him by May. Charlie has the sweetest soul and is everyone’s favorite cuddle buddy. Recently, our vet discovered that Charlie had a genetic condition in which he develops crystals in his urinary tract. She also discovered that he had not been neutered even though the animal shelter had told us he was. Nonetheless, we thought it was best to get him neutered and to remove the crystals in one surgery. They had to make an incision in his penile area to remove some crystals and they were unable to stitch that area so it had to “heal on its own”. His surgery alone was $800 and he was sent home to us bleeding puddles of blood. We work most days and can’t watch him24/7 so we decided to hospitalize him and they’ve been charging us daily and ran more testing on him. The vet bills will only go up from here and covid has effected our incomes. We wouldn’t ask for the help unless we needed it. Anything is appreciated even a share! Thank you in advance.
