Charlie is our adorable 7 year old furry goldendoodle son. He's been a blessing to our family since he became one of us when he was two. We are his fourth and forever family. Charlie has given us so much love, fun, laughter, and healing. He is also the best big brother; super sweet and patient to our son.
Two weeks ago, he started limping with his left back leg, and a few days later, the right one too. He was unable to move at all in a matter of days. He has regained mobility of his front legs and neck in the past few days. Charlie has seen three different vets and a neurologist in the past two weeks for tests and x-rays. All doctors think his problem is neurological and only an MRI can tell us for sure what's going on. The cost of the MRI for a dog as big as Charlie is $3000. Friends have reached out offering help. We thought the best way to help our baby get the MRI he needs is through here.
So far, Charlie's case is a mystery. He has no other symptoms other than the loss of mobility and pain receptors of his back legs. He hasn't been able to walk in 13 days so far. He is confused but willing to fight and wants to get better.
