Charlie's Angels 2024, B-Battery Chapter

Howdy, B-Battery Family! This fall we are excited to announce a Christmas service project that the entire Corps is taking part in! Charlie's Angels Charity Campaign is a "Go" for the 2024 Christmas season! Our Wildman family here on the Quad is excited to begin serving other families in this way. Please share this fundraiser with your own family, our off the Quad Wildman family, other former cadets, Former Students, or anyone wanting to participate.

Since he was six years old, Charlie Borowczak '26 has been adopting Salvation Army Angels at Christmas time. Now a junior in Company E-2 in Texas A&M’s Corps of Cadets, he annually continues to work year-round to bring Christmas gifts to the less fortunate. As a six-year-old, he did manual labor to raise $100 and adopt one angel. A tradition was born. In following years he began enlisting family and friends to help him secure more work, more donations, and more manpower as the project grew. About 5 years into the project, his number of angels so outnumbered his manpower capabilities that he created the Charlie’s Angels Shop Squad, a team of volunteers who would help him shop for all the gifts using the money raised. His senior year in high school, he raised $70,000 to adopt 700 angels. He took a year off and then reignited the project in 2023 as a sophomore in the Corps of Cadets, in order to see what potential Charlie’s Angels could have at Texas A&M. 2023 donations almost doubled the projected goal, reaching $10,000 to bring Christmas to 100 kids in Texas.

This year, Charlie Borowczak has called upon the entire Corps of Cadets to once again help him bring Christmas where it's needed most, with a lofty goal of raising $100,000 to adopt 1,000 Salvation Army Angels, but he can’t do it alone. Each outfit has been tasked with raising just $2,000 over a span of two months. If each outfit reaches this goal, that comes out to just $40 per cadet over the fundraising period.

It's time to bring the magic of Christmas to families in need. It's time to add to the list of 1,130 children that Charlie's Angels has already helped over the past 12 years. Will you help us reach our goal? Just think… YOU could be the reason a child gets a Christmas, and every child deserves a Christmas.

Charlie’s Angels has made local and national media and the links are below for you to check out if you are more curious about the project.

Note from Charlie:
I could not be more proud of the opportunity to serve my community in this capacity, and I could not be more grateful for the overwhelming generosity by all who donate and shop. It is YOU who makes the project happen, all I do is organize. Without your help, there would be no Charlie’s Angels. I do not believe there is such a thing as a small contribution. Every single dollar and man-hour counts. Thank you so much for helping me bring Christmas cheer to children all across Texas. For any questions or donation inquiries, please don't hesitate to contact me or a member of my staff!

Merry Christmas,
Charlie Borowczak ‘26
