My name's Charlie Craggs and I'm raising money for my essential surgeries (hair transplant / breast augmentation) because I've been transitioning for 5 years now and I'm tired- I just want to be done with my transition.
I've had some consultations and saved a lot of money but being a working class, trans activist, living in one of the most expensive cities in the world, its still gonna be a while before I'd be able to save the amount I'm hoping to raise here, and life is passing me by and I want to start living.
I'm hoping you can help me with this.
I'm tired of waking up and feeling disgusted by how I look, this isn't about being pretty, it’s about being feminine, or rather not being feminine- its gender dysphoria.
I can’t put into words how depressing it is to look in the mirror as a girl and see a receded hairline and a masculine figure. I spend over an hour everyday hiding these features putting wigs, corsets, padding and a tonne of makeup on to be seen as the girl I am. I want to be seen this way without all of this painful performance. I just want to wake up and be me, and these surgeries would grant me that wish.
I’d be beyond grateful for any donation, any size, or even a share. I'm super nervous writing this, I hate asking for hand-outs and I'm worried no one will donate, but I’m desperate at this point, so here goes.
