CHARLIE CROSBY - 100 HOLES OF GOLF IN ONE DAY

Myself and everyone at Old Fold Manor Golf Club are trying to raise some money for our good friend and member Charlie Crosby.

On Thursday morning, Charlie collapsed and was rushed to Barnet hospital by ambulance where they did a CT scan and found a bleed on his brain. They put him in an induced coma and rushed him to London Neurological Hospital, where he was sent straight down for emergency surgery.

After 7 hours of surgery Charlie is now slowly being brought out of the induced coma.
He had an AVM which ruptured deep in the left side of the brain. This is a condition that you are born with and you will not even know until this happens. It can happen to anyone of us at any time.
The staff have told us that Charlie is a real fighter and we are so proud of him. He is young and strong which will be in his favour but we still do not know how much damage has been done.

I am hoping that we can raise some money for Charlie and his family at this difficult time. Charlie has always supported his golf club and has been part of every occasion, whether it was captain's day, charity day or playing for the scratch team. So it's time to show our support for Charlie.

On Wednesday 19th  June , I will be playing 100 holes of golf with fellow Old Fold Manor Professional Stephen Topping at Old Fold Manor GC. Myself and Stephen were meant to be playing with Charlie last Friday along with his Dad Lee. Charlie absolutely loves his Golf and we have been lucky enough to spend some great times with him on and off the golf course.  He’s just one of them people who brings life to the room and is impossible not to love. He’s always smiling and we want to help get that smile back on his face as soon as possible.
