Hi, my name is Caterina and this is my dog Charlie Brown. Charlie is 6 years old and is my absolute world. He is the sweetest pup and loves everyone he meets. He was rushed into VSH emergency hospital for being unable to move, walk, and was crying in pain. Upon X-Rays and a radiologist report he was diagnosed with chronic IVDD. Intervertebral disc disease (IVDD) is a degenerative condition. He is being hand fed and carried to go to the bathroom and currently cannot walk well on his own. He cries in pain at even being picked up. IVDD isn’t curable but it is treatable, and we’re going in for an MRI to see if he’s a candidate for surgery. Unfortunately MRI’s start at anywhere for $4,000-$5,000, and that’s not even counting the treatment that he needs. ANYTHING you guys can do to help would mean the absolute world to me and Charlie, even if it’s just a share.
