Charlie Bear Needs Surgery

Our dog Charlie Bear is a sweet, loving 2 year old Pyrenees/Lab Mix who is needing TPLO surgery asap.  About a month ago - Charlie hurt his leg while running and tore his ACL. Shortly after that - he ended up tearing his other leg's ACL. His vet told us this unfortunately is common with big breed dogs - and Charlie Bear is a big boy! He is full grown at 137 lbs but even though he may be a big boy - he is still and always will be our baby.  We have been reaching out and the few surgeons that specialize in big breed dogs have quoted us $4000 per leg. Charlie's injury could not have happened at a worse time. I recently had to have surgery myself which has created a lot of medical debt we are currently dealing with.  We are desperate as we do not wish to see our Charlie baby suffer.

Our three boys - Jayden, Ethan and Brandon are just as devastated as we are about this. Charlie is only two years old and besides the two torn ACL's - he is otherwise a very healthy dog.  I have read a lot of success stories with big dog breed TPLO surgeries and I have 100% faith Charlie would recover and be able to live again as the happy healthy dog he was.
