Charles Howell Surgery medical Help

 Charles Howell has helped so many people heal in Savannah and other places. It is time to help him in his healing.  In February, Charlie had a major surgery to fight  MRSA infection in his right hip from his hip replacement in 2009. Charlie has been fighting this infection since that time and no doctor would treat him due to the extent of that infection and the condition of his hip… Thankfully the doctors at the Mayo Clinic in Jacksonsville said otherwise!   Currently, Charlie has a temporary antibiotic spacer in his hip and is being treated with additional intravenous antibiotics.  Since the spacer is temporary his right leg is not able to bare any weight at all and he is mostly confined to minimal movement. In May, doctors will reassess to make sure that infection is gone. If the infection is gone, he will face another major surgery, as they will remove the temporary hip spacer and will perform a total hip replacement.  Charlie has a long road ahead of him and many medical bills , but he’s one of the toughest people I know.  He is facing this battle with his faith and positivism and he will get through this.  He misses his patients/clients as they miss him. Many of you asked how you can help. Massage therapy is his livelihood, and these surgeries are taking a major toll on his life in more ways than just one. I’ve started this Go Fund Me page to help Charlie get through this next year without being able to do the thing he loves to do most….heal others.  He is an amazing therapist and I hope others will want to help support him in his time of need, as he has helped so many others in theirs.
