Charles McLien III Book Scholarship

On October 1st, 2017 we lost our dear friend and Morehouse Brother, Charles McLein III.  He was a graduate of Morehouse College, Class of 1997.  He later received his MBA from Harvard Business School. Charles was passionate about many things, but he especially loved his alma mater, Morehouse.  He also held a deep desire and commitment to serve others.  As a result of his passion and commitment he founded the Seattle Chapter of Morehouse Alumni.  He worked tirelessly on behalf of his brothers and his college. 

In 2015 he was honored as Alumnus of the Year.  In his speech he reaffirmed his vow to continue serving others, especially those in need.  In our effort to honor his memory and carry forward his charge, his friends of Morehouse and Spelman Class of 1997 have established a literary fund to raise donations towards an annual book scholarship for deserving Morehouse College students.  For those who knew Charles, we knew him as scholarly and well read.  He always carried a book. 

The Charles McLein III Book Scholarship will be a great way to honor and remember our friend.  Please assist us in reaching our goal by December 31st, 2017.   His family and friends would greatly appreciate your support, thank you.
