SSG Charles D. Allen 1-2 SCMH Memorial Dedication

We are raising money to help the family and friends of SSG Charles D. Allen attend a dedication ceremony for the 1-2 SCMH Clinic on Joint-Base Lewis McChord, Washington. SSG Allen was a Combat Medic assigned to 2/3 Infantry, part of 3rd Brigade, 2nd Infantry Division. He was killed in action in Baghdad, Iraq in 2007. He was an amazing mentor and friend to several medics who continued to save many lives in combat. He was the only combat medic lost in Iraq for the unit.
Several years ago we started a project to have his name memorialized on Joint Base Lewis McCord. With the help of family, friends, and other medics we succeeded. On October 8th, 2019 the 1-2 SCMH will be dedicated to SSG Charles D. Allen.
In order to get all family, friends, and veterans who served with SSG Allen to JBLM to see the dedication, we need help. We are seeking funding to help with airline tickets and hotels for family and friends who do not live in the JBLM area. Any funding not used will be donated to a charity of the family’s choice.
