Charity night for tourette's syndrome!!
Hey everyone, my name is Ash. I'm a musician from Liverpool, and in 2020 I got Tourettes syndrome, which is a neurological disorder characterised by involuntary movements. I didn't find it easy, and as soon as I got it, it felt like I had to teach myself how to live again, and I always felt embarrassed. Due to Tourette's, I didn't want to be seen, which led me to not leave the house for two years. Although it was hard, I started teaching myself instruments, and as my collection grew, I decided I needed to start gigging and putting my skills to use. It has always been my dream to give back to the community that has done so, so much for me, and what better way to do that than through music? On the 27th of April at @boxparkliverpool, I am hosting a Tourette’s charity night in my studio @sadgirlstudio2024. This has always been my dream, and I’ve worked with an amazing group of people to make this happen. Just wanted to give a massive shout-out to @djtizzle2022 for helping me out. It’s an honour to be able to give something back to the community that has always been there for me and made me feel safe and less embarrassed about my Tourette's.my story We have a fun night planned with loads of amazing acts on !!! And can't wait. Do you want to join me in making a difference? I'm raising money in aid of the TOURETTE SYNDROME (UK) ASSOCIATION, and every donation will help. Thank you in advance for your contribution to this cause, which means so much to me.
