Charity Football Match (4th June 2022)

Free to attend "Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue" vs "NHS staff of GWH and Swindon" charity football match and raffle!

 

After the challenges of the Covid pandemic, we wanted to give back to the community whilst having some fun. We are raising money for two charities: "The Fire Fighters Charity" and "Prospect Hospice". The event is free to attend. Players will be donating and we will have donation buckets at the event for attendees. All money raised will be split evenly between the two charities.

 

Swindon Town FC has kindly donated their training ground to host the friendly as well as kits for both teams.

 

Also, companies in the South West and beyond have kindly donated prizes (see below) for a raffle.

About the charities:

 

Prospect Hospice (280093) offers unparalleled end-of-life care services for a community of more than 300000 people in Swindon, Marlborough and north Wiltshire. Almost 3/4 of their income is raised by the local community. It relies on this to continue to provide end of life support for patients and families in the future.

 

The Fire Fighters Charity (1093387) offers specialist lifelong support for members of the UK fire services community, empowering individuals to achieve mental, physical and social wellbeing.
