About Us

Thanks to continued support from participants, sponsors, and donors, our golf tournament has raised more than $6,000 for Canadians. Each tournament is a way of operationalizing the improvements we want to see in Canadian communities.

The first charity, Right to Play Canada, reflects the potential for structured sports to build relationships, self-esteem, and valuable life-skills. A year later, wildfires devastated homes and businesses in Fort McMurray. The tournament came together to support the Red Cross’ restoration efforts. In 2017, we lost a family member to cancer so we responded by raising over two thousand dollars for the Canadian Cancer Society.

This is our second year operating under the revised format. Previously the charity was pre-determined. Now, the proceeds are donated to the winning team's charity. I vet each prospective charity to ensure the proceeds go to a registered charity–as recognized by the Canada Revenue Agency. Players represent the Centre for Addiction & Mental Health (CAMH), Princess Margaret, Ovarian Cancer Canada, LUSO Canadian Charitable Services, among others.
