Our Chantilly Band charges ahead!

The Chantilly Band serves over 220 students through a multitude of concert, jazz, chamber, percussion, and marching ensembles. Over the course of this year, our ensembles will log over 5000 miles traveling to performances. Performance highlights this year include:
March 2018: Symphonic Winds performing at the National Concert Band Festival in Indianapolis, IN. This is the second time in school history to be invited to this event and our band is one of only 26 from across the country selected to perform
April 2018: Indoor Drumline performing at WGI World Championships in Dayton, OH.
April 2018: All ensembles traveling to Orlando, FL to participate in Music USA Festivals workshops and festivals
The cost of transporting our students and equipment to performances continues to be one of our most significant expenses each year. Your tax deductible donation will help offset the cost of transportation and will help us ensure that ALL of our students have opportunities to participate in these life changing musical experiences. Performances and experiences of this nature come once in a lifetime for many of our students, will help instill in them a lifelong love of music, and provide unique opportunities to experience the world beyond the classroom.
