Chantelle's Recovery

Crash on Dunn Avenue On Friday July 7, 2017 Chantelle Buxton was on her way home from work to her three young children with whom her mother was caring for. Being less than five minutes from her home, Chantelle was struck head on by another driver that was fleeing a hit-and-run. Upon impact, her car began to release smoke and she feared that it would explode. Due to the collision both of her front doors were smashed and unable to open forcing her to climb out of the back of her Chevrolet HHR. Chantelle’s car was totaled and she sustained serious injuries including a broken leg and arm. She has gone through one successful surgery, but she has other surgeries pending as well as a long road to full recovery.

Although she is in pain, Chantelle remains thankful and in high spirits during this process.  As a result of this life changing experience, Chantelle will be unable to return to work for an undetermined amount of time. The immediate need to replace items destroyed in the accident, as well as assist her and her children during this difficult time, is evident. Along with your thoughts and prayers, we are asking our community for monetary assistance to help with ongoing medical treatments and household expenses while she is recovering.  Any amount is greatly appreciated and will go towards her recovery and the immediate needs for her children. Thank you for your support. May you be blessed and increased because of your thoughtfulness.
