Chantelle & Burgen Thorne Relief Fund USA

On Saturday night, exquisite  children's book illustrators, Chantelle & Burgen Thorne, were the victims of a vicious home invasion  in South Africa. Chantelle was left bruised and Burgen was paralyzed and is still in hospital.

While Burgen seems to be regaining some movement in his legs, they have massive medical bills, no health insurance, and no way of making an income during their months of recovery, plus their home was trashed.  

I have known and worked with Chantelle and Burgen who have been very generous in the kidlit community and  are truly wonderful people.
