Our mission here at EMAGES (Establishing Managing & Generating Effective Services) is to provide non-traditional, multicultural and culturally specific treatment to the disadvantage and disenfranchised residence of Chicago and its surrounding areas. We believe in and practice a holistic approach to treatment that addresses the whole individual and not just the underlined issue. More so, we believe that continuum of care includes, treatment and intervention services as well, as preventive and education services.
Founder Dr. Hattie Wash, Culturally Specific Treatment goal is to address clients that are diagnosed with mental illnesses, perpetrators of sexual offenses, anger management and situational adjustments disorders along with those individuals that are that are suffering with substance abuse of illicit or illegal drugs.
For over 26 years, EMAGES has serviced nearly 10,000 clients and most of our clients have received duplicated services. We at EMAGES service individuals with the opportunity of treatment, intervention and prevention. Along, with steps and coping skills you can take to help you on the road to recovery. With the right support, self-help, and treatment, you can overcome a co-occurring disorder, reclaim your sense of self, and get your life back on track.

Why we need your help
EMAGES is a private Not-For-Profit Organization dedicated to serving and educating our clients with the tools and knowledge to live a productive and healthy life style. However, the majority of our clients encounter a barrier in getting to our office to seek treatment. Not only are we asking donations for transportation for clients to and from treatment, we are also in need of refreshments, publications for client awareness, workbooks, journals and office supplies so that we can better serve our clients. No donation is too small your help is need to support our mission.
