Dear friends and family from all over the world, Ive been offered an incredible opportunity, and I need your kind support to make it happen.
Thanks to my effort for a school project in Kathmandu, I've been offered a scholarship to enroll a Master's Program to get trained as a Buddhist Experiential Teacher using a transformative pedagogical framework.
The scholarship doesn't cover the living expenses, visa and traveling costs.
As I'm investing my time in studying and volunteer work, I didn't have the chance to put all the money I need to cover this expenses together by myself, and this is why I need your help.
The school project is an effort from Chokyi Nyima Rinpoche, and we are working following his vision: a school that benefits the local community and the international people living around Kathmandu, that cultivates love and compassion for each other and for our world, respect and gratitude, critical thinking and skills for the working life. Given my strong background in psychology and education, I'm at the moment guiding the pedagogical side of it.
The Masters program in Experiential Buddhist Education is in Abidinheart, a project for teachers by Mingyur Rinpoche ("happiest man alive" Time Magazine). The program is amazing, combining Buddhist knowledge and practice, neuroscience and psychology and transformative Waldorf/Stainer methodology. https://www.abidingheart.education/
The overall budget for the two years will be around 18000 USD, which Ill try to cover with other scholarships and with my own work.
