Life-Changing Medical Equipment for Our Dad Vinnie

For the last several years, our father, Vinnie Bove, has been battling for his life -- we have been fighting alongside him.


In 2014 our dad’s life changed instantaneously.  At a routine doctor’s appointment to address pain in his artificial right knee, he was admitted to the hospital for a suspected bone infection.  He hasn't been home since.

Today, our 62-year-old dad lives full-time in a nursing facility, battling stage 4 kidney failure, heart failure, and a deadly bone infection which resulted in the amputation of his right leg in 2017.

We are Vinnie’s daughters and only living family members.  Together, we are doing our best as our father’s primary caretakers, but we need your help. 

Our dad needs medical equipment and treatments that insurance does not cover, and we simply cannot afford it on our own. 

The expenses include a motorized wheelchair and prosthetic leg for his mobility, a specialized bed to prevent bed sores and further infection, and alternative treatments to facilitate healing.

Prior to getting sick, our dad was a hard-working, dependable man, who supported his family and helped anyone who asked -- now he needs your support. 

He continues to bring laughter, joy, and light to everyone around him, despite everything he's been through.  Anyone who knows our dad will tell you he is one the hardest working people they've ever met.  But above all, he continues to be the best father to his girls.  Through it all, he remains hopeful and committed to healing.  He is only 62 years old and still has a lot of life to live.  We need your help to extend our Dad's life and make him more comfortable through the pain.
