Rescue Barn

Sadly we have been turned down for financing the remainder of the barn cost. We were originally hoping that with enough funds raised for a down payment we would be able to get financing for the barn to be built.
The good news is we found a company that is able to do the entire project. The heart breaking news is that we need to raise all of the funds. Our hearts are broken as this seems nearly impossible as we have been trying to raise funds for over 2 years. We thought we were so close and we were hoping to start construction. Were so sorry that we couldnt see this project come to life as it would truely be life changing for the dogs we rescue and for our program. We have applied for grants and tried every avenue in addition to asking for public donations. Were so thankful for the $16,450 that has been raised and we do hope that someday our dreams of building a insulated temperture controlled barn for our rescues will come to life.
The Barn will be designed to give comfort by providing a home like environment the barn will be their home until they are ready to go into a foster home or an adoptive home. This building will allow us to help with the worst cruelty cases. Providing the dogs with a quiet place to rediscover life. Our compassionate team will provide dedicated care and enrichment to the dogs that enter our program.
The barn will be fully insulated with lots of windows providing natural light, heat and air. Each dog will have there own space in a home like environment. The barn will include all the sounds of home, a washer and dryer, sink, and feed station along with a office and bathing area. The large play area will be divided to provide multiple exercise and training yards.
We purchased a gorgeous ranch property in Raleigh NC last year. The barn will be nestled away beneath the big oak trees in the Gorgeous city of oaks surrounded by nature trails and just 1 mile from the biggest lake in North Carolina. The location is perfect for our rehabilitation program. Our dream is to build a orphanage for pit bull type dogs in need of a place to come and learn about compassion and love. Our volunteers have seen some of the most horrific cases of abuse. Our hope is that you will help us build a place for these lost souls who need some extra help prior to going into a foster home or being adopted.
