<div>UPDATE: April 18, 2025, three weeks before this date, my brother became very ill and was taken to the hospital. After a few tests, he was told he had pneumonia or a virus, given medicine and was sent home. About almost three weeks later, my brother was diagnosed with Critical Heart Failure. Despite my mom's difficulties in trying to pay off her mortgage, she learned my brother's heart muscle was too weak to pump enough blood to meet the body's needs, even at rest. This led to a buildup of fluids in the lungs and other parts of the body, causing symptoms like shortness of breath, fatigue and swelling. My brother had to move back in with my mom and now she has a greater responsibility in taking care of him, making sure he is getting to doctors, eating healthily and we are praying to God that his heart can be restored back to normal. My mom must cook three meals a day, on top of all the other responsibilities she already does. So, please if you can help my mom with any amount to help with her mortgage, we will greatly appreciate it.

<div>This fundraiser is for my mom who is a single mother, whose been struggling to pay her $100,000 mortgage due to a lack of income. My mother was left with no money after her divorce holding all the debts when she had my brother and myself to raise on her own. Since 2009, we have really suffered and my mother have been trying to do things for herself but nothing has worked. She's written a book, and paid a great deal of money to the publishing company who did not take the necessary steps in making sure the book was ready for publishing, so she had to pull the book from the shelves. In writing her book, my mom thought it would be a way for her to overcome this financial crisis. She also tried starting her own business that did not make any sales, so she had to close it down. My mom have medical conditions that do not allow her to work a regular job.
