Chanel’s Journey Tuition

Autism is a debilitating developmental disorder that will become a life sentence if the early intervention crucial for the individual to thrive later on in life is not obtained.

 

My daughter, Chanel was diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder and Speech Delay at the early age of three and within that diagnosis has come countless obstacles, challenges and failures. Chanel needs extra help to do independent tasks we all do without thinking. Opening bottles, buttoning pants, and brushing her teeth to name only a few. She struggles mightily with academics and has gone to so many public schools in search of the right fit which has naturally caused her to regress instead of progress.

I finally found a school, Journey school, that is equipped for her to get that extra help she needs not only academically but also in basic life skills that can help her grow into an independent young lady. You see, I still have dreams for my daughter; that she will have a wonderfully happy and meaningful life. The teachers at Journey school have so much love and compassion in teaching Chanel academics, life skills, and also about being close to and knowing God. With raising enough for tuition costs at Journey School Chanel has a better chance at meeting academic goals, having friends, and have a chance at living an independent life.
