Chanell Lauxman is a dedicated teacher, daughter and single woman who lives with her beloved dogs. She lives in The Woodlands TX area affected by Hurricane Harvey and the flood waters.
Two years ago her home flooded. With limited flood insurance she rebuilt while taking on debt to supplement what the flood insurance didn't cover. Chanell lives on a teacher salary.
After rebuilding, she moved back into her home early in 2017. The picture here is what her house looks like after Harvey. It is once again a total loss.
I'm starting this GoFundMe page to raise funds to help offset her current living expenses (hotel) and help her transition into a more sustainable housing situation.
Chanell is a giving spirit and it is heartbreaking for those of us who care about her to see her go through this again. I hope you'll be moved to donate and lend her a hand.
The funds are needed urgently to get Chanell out of the hotel with her dogs which was an emergency outlet. We her friends want to give her this help to start her road to recovery.
There are so many people in need, but please include Chanell's kind and gentle soul in your generous outreach. We her friends will be eternally grateful.
