I desperately need your help!
My name is Bri. I have a super sweet, kind, and loving horse name Chancey, who is currently very sick. He is hospitalized at Chino Hills Equine Hospital, due to a large tear in his intestinal wall near by his rectum. The tear is approximately the size of a grapefruit. Chancey is my first horse and he is the most gentle, loving, and affectionate boy. He is like a huge puppy. He is also tough as nails and fighting like a champ.
The doctor is optimistic about his survival and recovery, as he has seen horses in the same situation recover and went on to live a long and happy life. But the estimated cost for his hospitalization and treatment is around $10,000 (that is the best-case scenario, it could possibly be more if there are complications).
They are estimating he will be hospitalized for roughly 10 days (in the best case, miraculous scenario), up to more than two weeks (which is more likely).
I'm reaching out to you in search of help. I really need help covering the costs of his rescue. I saved his life once three weeks ago, and now we are desperately fighting for his life once again. He is a champ and I know he can make it through this. If you are able to, please consider a donation to help cover the costs of his rescue and hospitalization. All funds raised from this with go directly to paying for Chancey's hospitalization at Chino Hills Equine Hospital and to his post-care after.
I am so devastated beyond words, but I'm not giving up on him. He is so strong and so brave, and despite the amount of pain that he is in, he continues to push through it and do everything that we ask of him. Miraculous things has happened and I know he will pull through this! Please help me save Chancey!
