Chambersburg Ballet Fall Fundraiser

Tax deductible
For 22 years the Chambersburg Ballet, resident dance company of Chambersburg's Historic Capitol Theatre, has brought the beauty and athleticism of classical ballet and contemporary dance to diverse audiences all across Franklin County. From Spring Run to Quincy, from The Luhrs Center For The Performing Arts to the Capitol Theatre and points in between, the company's performances have enthralled children and adults of all ages. Even during the height of Covid, our dancers, artistic staff and backstage personnel persevered to bring performances "virtually", and did not miss staging a single production. In doing so the Chambersburg Ballet has provided valuable training in dance-related disciplines, plus performance and choreographic opportunities, to hundreds of young local dancers.

The Chambersburg Ballet's Board of Directors (the Chambersburg Ballet Guild) is asking for your support for the 2021-2022 performance season. We strive to keep the Chambersburg Ballet affordable and accessible to both dancers and audience members alike. Ticket sales and Tuition cover approximately half of the expenses and your support is needed in order to keep our prices affordable and the arts available to as many as possible.

As a donor your name will appear in all printed programs and Performance Season videos by the Chambersburg Ballet through this Performance Season. The 2021-2022 Performance Season includes:

-The Nutcracker (full-length) Sat., Dec. 18th, at 3 & 7 p.m., and Sun., Dec. 19th at 3 p.m. at the Capitol Theatre. This traditional family holiday classic will be presented fully staged with over 100 colorful handmade costumes, and featuring 2 professional Guest Artists.

-Icefest Dances Sat., Jan. 29th, 3 & 7 p.m. at the Capitol Theatre, featuring short ballet works and dance pieces, some choreographed by dancers of the company.

-Snow White Sat, June 11 - 2 performances time TBA.

Donors will be recognized both in our program and on our website (www.chambersburgballet.org) at the following levels:

-Corps de Ballet $25-49
-Soloist $49-100
-Principal $100-250
-Prima $250-500
-Ballet Master $500-1,000

Your support will allow dancers of all ages and levels to continue to benefit from the ballet as well as provide arts experiences for the larger community. Your help is needed to meet the goal of $3,000.   Donations to the fall fundraiser will be used as needed by the organization or may be designated to specific needs such as Artistic New Works, Community Engagement or Seasonal Works.  If you'd like to specify how your donation is used, please fill out this form (https://drive.google.com/file/d/1OQExYT94IubMitJiAJk3m7_ajfTl2uNd/view) and email it to [email redacted].
