Chambers funeral

I won't pretend like I know what to say here. One of my best friends on the planet has lost her family in the matter of days. What do I say? Shay is my little sis. People ask if we are sisters "for real" and my answer is yes. She's everything a sister should be. She's also the most caring and loving child I know. For the entirety of her adult life, Shay has spent her every day caring between her ill mother and her mentally challenged brother. It was her job. Her purpose. Her everything. She lived and breathed to love and look after them. Last year, her car took a dive. My friends pitched in and we surprised her with a car to get to her mom and brother. She was so excited. She drove to her mom right away to find her unresponsive. She called 9-11 and her mother had been in hospital care since Christmas Eve. Nearly 8 months. 8 months she stayed by this woman's side, sleeping on hospital chairs, on the phone with insurance , talking to doctors, fighting for her mom. Her mom left to be with the Lord a few days ago. Hearing her scream for her momma was the most heartbreaking thing I've ever heard. Then she came to see me again today. She told me it was time to go to her only brother as he didn't know yet but had stopped eating the day her mom passed on. He was mentally ill and hadn't heard from Londa ( momma) and we assume he knew something was wrong. She left me and went to see him and set up transportation to come to their moms upcoming funeral. When she got there, he was cold and barely with her. She told him momma was gone and he took his final breath. Now my heart wants to believe the two needed to be together. That he waited for Shay to say goodbye ( this was NOT expected. He was NOT terminal or ill to where death was a thought) and to go be with momma in heaven. How do you bury your family in the same week? When her mother was an ICU, she understandably lost her job. She spent her time caring for the two every day for as long as I've known her. She has nothing. No way to pay anything now to lay him to rest. We barely got mom covered by the Grace of God but in no way are we prepared for this. I'm begging friends and strangers to help this sweet angel. She cannot even begin to grieve with having to figure out how to pay for 2 funerals. Now Momma's is close to being covered. Only a few things left to address but still a bit of money. We have nothing for him. I know these are always going around and I know I give as often as I can. I don't ask for things like this unless it's seriously impossible for a person to get what they need but this is impossible. I need help.

Shay devotes her time to helping others, charity work and helping with the church. She helps me on my missions of blessing others and is the first to raise her hand to help anyone. I plead with you to show her the love she's shown her family and strangers alike.

Thank you for any consideration. If even 5.00, it will be 5.00 closer than zero. If you cannot give, I ask you to pray for the passed. Pray for my Shay.

Thank you and God Bless
