My son, Chaise Stavig was involved in a horrible power line accident on Monday Sept. 28 2020, leaving him and his family in desperate need of your donations. He was helping a fellow believer on a roof when he stepped back and was struck on the head by a low hanging power line. The voltage caused him to be thrown violently to the ground. The back of his head has a softball sized burn nearly to the skull. He also has third degree burns on both hands due to the exit of the electricity. Both hands were split open in multiple places and there is extensive nerve damage as a result. The near future will involve surgery to graft skin into both hands as well as the back of his head. Despite surgery Chaise may never have full feeling in his hands, which may cause him to never be able to work again. This horrible accident happened on his first day back to work, after being laid off due to Covid19 and the economy! Being laid off and on unemployment, Chaise has no health insurance. He has three young children that depend on him not just financially, but as being their dad. Which he is a wonderful daddy. He desperately needs the surgeries and won’t be able to have them without funds to provide them. Chaise is a rare case less than 2% survive this kind of electrocution, the effects on his brain is catastrophic and is going to need specialist to help him regain or recover from the effects its having on his memory. Chaise is a God fearing man, a wonderful husband, son, brother and friend! Anything helps! Thank you so much for your love & generosity!
