Chai's Veterinary Bills

A year ago my Siamese kitten Chai got mauled by my 2 Pembroke Welsh Corgis last June 26th while I was away from home.  We started at the local emergency hospital in town where he spent the night and then the next day he got emergency referred to The Life Center in Leesburg Va. When we arrived they rushed him into surgery for a ruptured bladder and some other unknown internal injuries. He was out on vasopressors IV to try and get his Blood Pressure stabilized because they couldn't get it up. He was wrapped in a bear hugger because they couldn't keep his body temperature up either. My sister and I hung out in the waiting room for hours on end waiting for information to trickle out. They finally left me see him and I couldn't stop crying. He had an incision from ribs to pubis area, a bulb drain in his abd, a little tiny urinary catheter in, multiple IVs for antibiotic's and pain medication. When he saw me he crawled across the exam table and tried to climb down in to the front of my shirt...I sat in that same position for 2 hours until it was time for his Vital Signs to be gotten. The rest of the story is that they kept him to for a week and then sent him home with me his to finish his recovery. That veterinary bil totalled around 10,000.00. Luckily I had a credit card that had never been activated or I would have been sunk. The bill from our local veterinary hospital was almost 2,000 and I was able to get a loan through  Care Credit to pay that one.

In June of this year he started coughing so back to the vet we went. He was out on antibiotics which seemed to improve the problem until now. He is back in the veterinary hospital  now with a high fever 104.8, weight loss, lethargy. I have to idea where I will get the money to pay this bill because I'm struggling under the high interest rate of the credit card trying to pay that bill. Any donations would be helpful because I would do anything to save my meezer Chai as he just turned 2 years old in July.
