Chad's favorite spot. Memorial Bench.

Pohick Bay Regional Park was a big part of Chad's life. He not only dedicated many years to the maintenance and care of the park; he also helped to plot and set up many of the hiking trails. He spent a lot of time on the trails that lead up to a beautiful scenic water view. This was his favorite spot in the whole park. We would like to honor his memory by sponsoring a memorial bench and name plate at that location. Please help us make Chad a permanent part of the park. It would be a wonderful way to honor our sweet, caring, funny, loved, and missed brother, uncle, son, and friend to so many; Chad Austin Carson.

Chad, It's been 2 years, since you went on your way and after all this time .....I think about you every day
everything I do........everything I say is based on what I saw you do.... along the way. You were so good and ever so kind to everyone you met. If you made enemies, I haven't met them yet. The world is changed, since we said goodbye but the simple truth.... I learned from you will never die
