Chad Chapman and Karen Jacques

Last Sunday Chad Chapman (our Maintenance Guru at LCC) was having a hard time catching his breath while working. He decided to take a short break and see if he felt any better.  Chad went downstairs to lay down,  Karen (his longtime girlfriend) went down to check on him about 20 minute later, Karen astutely surmised Chad was in need of immediate medial attention.  Karen quickly took Chad to the hospital, shortly after arriving, the medical team call for the helicopter to airlift Chad to Brigham and Women's in Boston.  

Chad is in critical condition in the ICU at Brigham and Women's in Boston, he has been diagnosed with a large tear in his Aorta.  Karen has been at Chad's side every minute since he arrived last Sunday.
