Helping a Friend

This campaign is to help support my dear friend, Mary Jones, in starting up a new business, Direct Destination Hauling (DDH) Transportation. I have always known Mary to be an extremely hardworking woman; one might even call her a "Hustler". Her dedication to provide for her son and maintain her home has been unwavering. I was so happy to hear this year, she decided to take a "leap of faith" with DDH Transportation. In starting the company, Mary has begun to cultivate relationships with various companies, managers, and shippers; making DDH the priority choice in transportation services. Initially, the DDH business venture was a team effort and shared vision with a business partner. However, the individual that she partnered with unexpectedly pulled out, leaving Mary stuck with contractual investments. Shortly after, Mary was laid off from her full time job.

Although, Mary has had much success with DDH, these events over the last couple of months have left her in tremendous financial strain. Despite the numerous obstacles that have come during the start of her business venture, Mary refuses to give up. She embodies what true resiliency looks like. Mary has invested so much in this business and I want to encourage her to keep pushing for success! She is a kind and giving person. Mary's kindness is rooted in a strong desire to help people. However, she struggles with asking for help. So I am doing it for her!
