Medical Bills

Hi, my name is Danielle and I'm raising money for my mother. After she was unexpectedly laid off earlier this year, she developed breast cancer. This came as a shock to us, but we tried to stay positive. We made plans for her to remove the cancer as soon as possible. Then they found polyps in her uterus. After the surgery to remove the polyps, they told us it had developed into uterine cancer. 
       Currently we are staying with my aunt, uncle, and cousin. They help us any way they can, but we need a little more help. Her insurance will not cover both surgeries completely, or the chemotherapy. We also drive to the only hospital covered by the insurance, half an hour away, every week for doctor's appointments.
      My mom has been looking for a job ever since she became unemployed, but not a lot of people are willing to hire her due to her age and the fact that she is hard of hearing. Her declining health has also made it hard for her to look for jobs. Her unemployment is running out soon and we need help to pay for her medical bills, gas to get to the doctor, and healthy food for her to eat. 
      My mother is very hardworking and would help anyone in the same situation that she is in. She volunteers for GSDAA  (Georgia School for the Deaf Alumni Association) and V.R. (Vocational Rehabilitation) in Cave Spring, Georgia. She's currently going to night courses to get her G.E.D. so she can qualify for better jobs and go to technical school. 
     This has been hard to deal with, and we're trying to stay positive. We are not people who normally ask for help easily, but there comes a time where you have to swallow your pride and accept help.
