Blueberry Lost a Body Part

As some of you may already know Blueberry is a pretty sick little beagle. She was diagnosed with lymphoma a couple weeks ago and yesterday she had to have her spleen removed due to a large tumor that may or may not be related to the lymphoma at all (what I and her oncologist kiddingly referred to as her tummy tuck). She came through surgery like a little trooper and I will hopefully get to bring her home today. And since it was localized (no spread to her chest) it was hopefully all taken out. She has been having chemo treatments every week for the past few weeks and is responding really well to them. The hope is to get her into remission, and with the way she has been responding to the chemo there is a really good chance of having that happen.
I wouldn't normally ask for help, but the price of yesterday's surgery alone could be as high as $6,200. I won't know how much it is until I pick her up from the vet. It doesn't really matter what the cost is, she's my dog and I love her and I will do whatever it takes to make her happy for as long as she can be happy. And even if nobody donates anything it would make no difference in my decision to have the surgery. But it doesn't hurt to ask for help when you need it...right now, Blueberry and I need it. We would really appreciate any help at all...seriously, any little bit would help. And in return, you will have the love of a very cute little dog.
In the event that more money is donated than is needed to cover the cost for Blueberry, I will donate the overage to Best Friends Animal Society.

If, by chance, someone I don't know needs their wedding photographed and is wondering if donating $1000 to Blueberry is a viable option to get good, reasonably priced photos of your wedding. The answer is yes, I am an actual photographer, and I do get paid for it. And if you are having your wedding in the state of California I will take pictures of it...I'll even send you a contract stating as much.
