Hurricane Dorian Relief - Bahamas

Growing up in the Bahamas hurricanes were a part of life but no storm has ever hit as hard as the most recent hurricane that hit two islands very close to our hearts; Abaco, the island our family are from and Grand Bahama, the island we called home.

Hurricane Dorian hit the Bahamas just over a week ago and it was heartbreaking seeing the devastation and damage it left behind on the news and social media. The islands have been left with no power, water, basic supplies and some have even lost their homes!

My family and friends are all accounted for and I am so relieved however Hurricane Dorian has left some of my cousins with no home, some with ruined homes and water damage, no jobs to go to and lack of basic supplies. We are looking to raise some money to help our family and friends get back on their feet and are reaching out to you for any support that you can offer. 

My country is strong and Bahamians are resilient and with time and support we will rebuild!
