Helping hand to Morgan

A group of her friends have decided to organise a raffle to raise some funds to help with the medical expenses over the last few months.

Morgan was diagnosed with Cervical Cancer back in March 2014, the diagnosis was a 4cm tumour called an adenocarcinoma. Adenocarcinoma is the second most common sub-type of cervical cancer, making up about 15 to 20 percent of all cervical cancers. Cervical adenocarcinoma arises within glands located in the endocervix and is not necessarily picked up by pap smears.
Her symptoms were just irregular bleeding and excessive tiredness which she had just put down to stress and her recent battle with glandular fever. Around the time of diagnosis she had also developed lower back pain and anxiety when driving. Morgan had a papsmear in December 2013 which came back clear and also had the gardasil immunisations at 15.
Morgan underwent a radical hysterectomy in April 2014 where they found a more aggressive cancer which hadnt been picked up on in recent tests so as a precautionary measure underwent 6 weeks of chemotherapy & radiation.
