As we enter this season of giving, we are reaching out to you with a heartfelt plea to help a beloved member of our community. Ms. Angela Grandberry lost everything in a sudden and devastating house fire just days before Christmas.

Imagine preparing to walk out of your home just as the smell of smoke and the sizzling sound of an electrical fire catches your attention before your home is engulfed in flames. In mere moments, the place that once held laughter, memories, and the promise of the holidays was reduced to ash and debris. Thankfully, she escaped and was able to call 911 as her neighbor rushed over with a hose to try and assist, minimizing structural damage, but they lost everything else—their clothes, cherished photos, keepsakes, and even the gifts she had so carefully saved for and wrapped for Christmas morning.

This was not just a loss of material possessions but of the sanctuary they called home. For Angela, it was the culmination of years of hard work, sacrifice, and dreams gone up in smoke and now is left to pick up the pieces.

As she faces this heartbreaking reality, Angela is determined to stay strong for her family, but she cannot rebuild alone. That’s where we come in. Together, we can help restore hope and offer her family a chance to rebuild their lives.
