Who will benefit?
I'm Irene Paiz, the owner at #1 Chinese Kitchen and we have been serving our community for 10 years for takeout and catering. My goal is to serve 1000 individual meals to the nurses, docs, and medical staff at San Jose hospitals. Please donate to help us deliver hope to the local doctors and nurses on the front lines of the fight against COVID-19 in the South Bay.
Funds will be used by #1 Chinese Kitchen to procure, cook, package and deliver fresh, tasty meals to local hospitals to feed the many first responders working extended hours treating and healing our neighbors, friends, and family that have been impacted by COVID-19.
In this time of urgent need, we are asking for our community's support. Without a significant influx of orders in the coming weeks, we are one of the many small businesses at risk of closing our doors.
Any donation amount will be accepted and appreciated:
$1 = funds 1/10 of a meal
$10 = funds 1 meal
$100 = funds 10 meals
$1000 = funds 100 meals.
We have a list of hospitals that we plan to deliver to (Kaiser Hospitals, Good Samaritan, O'Conner, Regional, Santa Clara Valley Med), but also want your suggestions.
100% of donations will be used to fund meals and their deliveries. Please check back as we will be posting video and photo updates of our deliveries.
