"To know, know, know him is to love, love, love him...." The lyrics to that 60's song describe our Kirk to perfection. Anyone who is lucky enough to know him will agree. He is confident, but humble. He is strong, but gentle. He always puts others first. Kirk sees himself as a servant of his God at Calvary Chapel. He is a servant on the beach to members and visitors at Kihei Canoe Club on Maui where is the best beach captain they have every had. He served the people of Orange County for 33 years as a firefighter.
Kirk and Sheryl are facing an enormous challenge today. He was diagnosed a few months ago with late Stage 2 colon cancer. He has had chemotherapy, surgery and radiation and still faces months of additonal chemo. His insurance doesn't come close to covering his medical expenses.
Kirk and Sheryl need to focus on his health and waste no energy worrying about money. We ask all who know, know, know him to send your love and financial support to Kirk and Sheryl. His son Travis, daughter Hannah and the grandkids need him strong and healthy. We all need him.
