Help keep our family together

We normally don't share our struggles unless we are venting to close family but this time around we could use the back up. Our summer has been a stressful custody battle to keep Braden in Humboldt county for school and in our care upon his mothers sudden decision to move out of town. 
-To make a long story short and to keep it simple-
Until this point Russell has always defended himself but we just can't take our chances this time around with our one shot in trial for a final judge decision. Mediation has been a revolving door and full of false and irrelevant accusations that have Russell jumping hoops to prove false and dragging out a case that should already be done and over with. The stress of making sure all facts and evidence are correctly provided for the best outcome for Braden has become too heavy to carry alone. We NEED to hire a lawyer to collect all our thoughts, facts, evidence and line up our ducks to go in confident that we did everything we could to keep Braden where he should be. 
We love him to the ends of earth. We always put him first supporting his academics, all extracurricular activities he shows interest in and have supported his love for BMX for 2 years requiring our time 3 days a week almost year round. In our home he is loved by his father, mother figure, and sibling (soon to be siblings) and has numerous family members in the community. Along with us, his entire family (both sides included) can't imagine why someone would want to take him away.
