Kim's Medical Mission to Ghana

Hello friends, family, loved ones and humanitarians. In a few weeks I will be traveling to Ghana, West Africa with R.E.S.T.O.R.E The Foundation for Reconstructive Surgery, in an effort to help children and adults suffering with disfiguring medical conditions. As I donate my nursing services and expertise, as well as the entire medical team, we will provide free reconstructive surgery and related medical services to those suffering from disfiguring deformities stemming from birth defects, accidents and diseases. I will be leaving October 13th so your donations are needed today.Your donation will be used to help cover the cost of my airfare, taxes, fees, the cost of my visa which is required to enter the country, and the vaccinations needed for travel to Africa. Your donation will also help with medical supplies . As with most medical missions, the volunteers not only give of their time and services in an effort to heal bodies and touch hearts, they pay a large portion of their own expenses which is way I am asking for any and all donations, large and small.
Everyday my goal is to make a significant positive impact in my patients' lives and I believe I do make a difference. It is my life's dream to be able to volunteer yearly, to travel to a third world country to provide medical care to the under-served but well deserved people. I will be forever grateful for any donation you are inspired to give.
