Stranded in Mexico b/c of medical emergency

This is such a humbling experience for me, as I hate to ask ANYONE for help, I’ll usually try to find away, but in this case I’m out of options. As many of you know Stephen and I went on a cruise, while on the ship Stephen became very sick, we had to take him to the ships ER. The doctors and his family decided the best thing would be for him to get off the ship in Progreso Mexico to het the medical treatment he could not receive on the ship. While on the ship he got diagnosed with Pancreatitis, and Diabetes, he actually was in a diabetic coma. Stephen did not drink nor did he eat while on the ship, so this was not cause by over doing it with the cocktails. His blood sugar was 700+ and BP was 190/120. Stephen has no medical insurance, and his bill is over 5k a day, his family does not have that kind of money neither do I. He has to spend 3 days in ICU and hopefully 2 days back in his regular room. We are planning on getting back on the ship on Tuesday to come back to the US. In the meantime we have to pay his bill. I know 4K won’t cover it, especially with it being 5k a day, but I’m hoping if I come to them with that they will discharge him and we can come home...I am BEGGING for any help at all...I hate this, but we both need to get back to the US, so that he can get treatment from American Doctors that we can understand and so he can be with his family. Again anything will help. Those who know me know I would give the shirt off my back for anyone and he is the same way. I know a lot of you have not met Stephen, but you know me, and helping me helps him. I’m so stressed about this bill that, I’m not sleeping or eating. I can’t leave him here in Mexico. I fear they will not discharge him without some kind of payment. I paid $600 of his $2,400 ship hospital bill, so I’m also stuck with no money. This is a horrible situation to be in and I don’t wish it on anyone. Thank you for those who are able to help, and if you’re not you can help us by uplifting him in prayer.
