on june the 15th i went to work .being a normal day for me ..i had a constant headache and just thought it was from not enough sleep ..i went to the bathroom with numbness in my left arm and leg .said to a co worker i dont feel right ..as we walked back to our work area my left leg just dropped under me ..i was taken to the kosciosko hospital with stroke symptems ..then rushed to forte wayne ..lutheran hospital icu ..while there i was given many tests on the brain ..mri ,ct scans ,and still no answer ..with what was wong .on the saturday the neurosurgeon came into the icu and asked myhusband if i had mri on my neck and spine .my husband said no ..so they sent me for that mri .The surgeon returned at 1pm and showed my husband the results that i had disks in my neck that were crushing the flow of spinal fluid to my brain and said she has to have surgey today as its critical ...so i was in surgery at 4pm that day and had a disk fusion on 3 disks ..when i woke i still couldnt move my left arm or leg ..the surgeon said i was a very lucky girl as this could of killed me or permanantly disabled my left side ..so then it was time for intence physio to help me with my arm and leg ..i was so determined ..within 4 days i was using a walking frame .on the thursdy i was sent to a rehab centre where i continued my therapy there for another 6 days ..and finally i got to go home with a walking frame ..now i have all the bills coming in and i cant return to work for 3 months ..with all the bills piling up and just my husband working i feel overwhelmed with medical bills ..so im asking for a little help .thankyou for your support .
