Thank you for visiting my go fund me page. My name is Janeen Lankowski and I am an IFBB PRO BODYBUILDER, personal trainer, nutrient coach, and posing coach/choreographer. I was injured about a year ago when I was working on an educational training video. While shooting for the video I was demonstrating ‘xxxxxxxx’ when I suddenly felt something snap in my arm. I was rushed to the hospital and x-rays were taken. The doctors said that my arm was not broken, however, I suffered a very bad sprain. I have been going through ultrasound and tens unit treatments 3 times a week. I just learned that I have torn my triceps and it will require an operation to fix them.
My goal is to raise money for surgery and have it scheduled as soon as possible (February/early March) so that my upcoming competition season will not be jeopardized. My options for medical coverage are limited as I am from Canada. I’m in the USA on a VISA to build on my career and compete in my sport. With the injuries I have sustained, my training is limited and I am not able to push myself to give 110%. I have tried everything possible to heal on my own, however, my options are limited. It has affected me in my everyday life and in the gym. There are so many things that I have planned to do on and off the stage in my sport; continue to inspire people to follow their dreams and train with them to achieve their goals. I am a dedicated and hard-working woman and I have found myself in a position where I must find alternative options and assistance in order to pay for the surgery to have my triceps fixed. In having this surgery completed, it will allow me to continue with my career. I am driven to keep the sport of female bodybuilding alive and to continue training with men and women who share the same passion. The cost of the surgery is $6,000 USD. Anything will help. I really just want to continue my
